Daspletosaurus

Daspletosaurus was a large predatory dinosaur from the North American Cretaceous Period, about 75 million years ago. Very closely related to its much larger cousin, Tyrannosaurus rex, Daspletosaurus shared its robust build and bone crushing jaws with its later relative. Daspletosaurus could get nearly 30 feet long and weigh nearly 3 tons. Despite possessing the short, two fingered arms of all tyrannosaurids, it had the longest proportional arms of any of its family.
