Gryposaurus
Gryposaurus was a large hadrosaur, or duck-billed dinosaur from Late Cretaceous North America, about 75 million years ago. Known for its enlarged nasal arch on the top of its snout, the dinosaur has been proposed to have had air sacs on either side of the front of its skull that it could inflate for display. Gryposaurus is also a rare dinosaurian example of a species we have numerous skin impressions of! These show compressed, tight knit scales with numerous edges that fit compactly together.
