Hesperosaurus
Hesperosaurus was a large stegosaurus dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period in North America, about 148 million years ago. Closely related to Stegosaurus, it differed from its cousin in key ways. It was slightly smaller, had rounded plates as opposed to triangular ones, smaller tail spikes, and had only one row of dorsal plates rather than two. It used its sharp beak and small teeth to help it eat low lying plants and shrubs within its environment.
