Microhadrosaurus
Microhadrosaurus was a hadrosaurid (duck billed) dinosaur from the Jiangxi province of Late Cretaceous China, living about 75 million years ago. Its name means “small sturdy reptile”, in reference to the fact that the only bones we have of the animal suggest a full size of 8 feet long. Compared to the 40 foot giants such as Edmontosaurus, the name seemed appropriate. However, recent studies have suggested that the specimen was a juvenile, and theorized adult animals could reach over 30 feet in length.
