Starfish

Starfish are a group of invertebrate animals under the family of echinoderms. Dating back to the Cambrian, starfish have been around and mostly unchanged for over 480 million years. This means they first appeared over 230 million years before the first dinosaur stepped foot on the earth. Shockingly, starfish are predators. Moving so slow as to remain undetected, they slowly get an arm on top of their prey, trapping it with suction cups. It will then pull the unfortunate animal beneath it, wrapping it in its external stomach.
