Stegosaurus

Stegosaurus was a large plant eating dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period, existing about 145 million years ago. Known for its distinctive dorsal plates and tail spikes, it also had a robust body, long neck with armored scales, and small head. One of the earlier heavily armored herbivores, this dinosaur would’ve been tough prey for predators such as Allosaurus and Torvosaurus.
