Tarbosaurus

Tarbosaurus
Tarbosaurus was a large predatory dinosaur that stalked Late Cretaceous Mongolia, about 70 million years ago. The closest known relative to T. rex, some scientists argue that Tarbosaurus even belongs under the genus Tyrannosaurus, despite the time and geographic distance between the two. At over 30 feet long, 12 feet tall, and weighing 6 tons, Tarbosaurus was the only other member of the Tyrannosaur group to approach sizes close to its more famous cousin.
