Brachylophosaurus "Mummy" Vertebra and Skin

This cast was molded from a real incredibly rare specimen of the duck-billed dinosaur Brachylophosaurus, where not only did the bones fossilize, but the scaly skin did as well. This allows the viewer to see both the caudal (tail) vertebra and each pebbly scale of this ancient dinosaur. This stunning piece also comes on a custom-made hardwood mount that allows the owner to easily hang it on their wall. This is sure to be a show stopper in any collection or display. Brachylophosaurus was a mid sized hadrosaur (duck-billed) dinosaur from the North American Late Cretaceous, about 75 million years ago. Brachylophosaurus could reach 35 feet long and weigh up to 7 tons. Several specimens of these animals have been discovered with ossified tendons (tendons that turn to bone to support the tail) and even soft tissue preservation! This means we know what the internal organs, muscles, and even skin looks like on these large herbivores!
