Ceratosaurus Partial Skull

This cast was molded from the real skull material of the large horned carnivorous dinosaur, Ceratosaurus. It is the majority of the right side of the cranial material, with giant serrated teeth, gorgeous bone texture, and both the lacrimal and nasal horns on display. All this, plus the custom hardwood mount that allows you to easily hang the piece by a wire on your wall makes this an incredible display of one of the Jurassic's most distinctive carnivores. Ceratosaurus was a medium sized predatory dinosaur from the Jurassic period, living about 145 million years ago in North America. Not only is it incredibly rare for the time period compared to other theropods it lived with, such as Allosaurus, it was also very bizarre. This 25 foot predator had a large horn over its nose, two smaller ones in front of its eyes, spiky osteoderms along its spine, and very exaggerated teeth.
