This incredible pendant is made from anreal Trilobite fossil, recovered in Utah, USA. It dates over 400 million years old, allowing the owner to have one of the oldest and most successful of fossil species around their neck. Trilobite fossils are an assortment and will vary in exact shape and size. Trilobites are an extinct arthropod appeared in the Cambrian period, over 520 million years ago. Named for the three vertical lobes that make up their body, these creatures were also the first animals to evolve complex eyes. Extremely successful animals in their environments, the thousands of species make up the most common fossils on earth. They most likely ate small soft organisms like worms or sifted through the sand to find organic particulates.
