Ctenochasma
Ctenochasma was a small pterosaur from the Late Jurassic of Germany, living about 160 million years ago. It is most notable for the long delicate jaws packed with thin needle-like teeth. It used the teeth as a great filter in the air, a net to catch small flying insects as it soared with its 6 foot wingspan. It is also notable for the fact that it is one of the few species in paleontology where both sexes have been identified. Males possess a rounded crest on their head, which females lack.
