Dromaeosaurus

Dromaeosaurus was a carnivorous raptor dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period in North America, about 80 million years ago. It was about 7 feet long, 4 feet tall, and about 50 lbs. Dromaeosaurus was very similar to it’s Asian cousin, Velociraptor, in both size and shape. But despite their similarities, Dromaeosaurus was more robust and possessed a boxier skull. It may have used these features to consume tougher meat or even bone, opposed to the slicing method of other raptors.
