Edmontonia

Edmontonia was a mid sized herbivorous ankylosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period, about 76 million years ago. Reaching over 20 feet long, 6 feet tall and weighing over 3 tonnes, Edmontonia was an armored tank of an animal. Edmontonia was so heavily covered in spiky protective scutes that bone cores can even be found in its eyelids. It may have not only used the largest spikes on its shoulders as protection from predators, but also in rutting competitions against each other.
