Oviraptor

Oviraptor
Oviraptor was a small omnivorous dinosaur from Late Cretaceous Mongolia, about 71 million years ago. Oviraptor was about 3 feet tall, 5 feet long, and weighed about 90 lbs. Its name, meaning “egg thief” refers to the first fossil found of the animal, an adult Oviraptor preserved on top of a nest of dinosaur eggs. However, more recent scientific analyses have shown that the eggs belonged to Oviraptor, suggesting the adult was not stealing them, but caring for its own brood.
