Therizinosaurus

Therizinosaurus was a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived in Late Cretaceous Mongolia, about 70 million years ago. A truly strange animal, despite its massive hand claws, bipedal gait, and belonging to the same group as the carnivorous dinosaurs, it dined solely on plants. Therizinosaurus likely achieved sizes of 17 feet tall, 33 feet long, and 5 tons. It likely used its distinctive and iconic hand claws to forage for plants.
