Triceratops

Triceratops was a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived in North America in the Late Cretaceous period, about 67 million years ago. Famous for its horned face, the two horns above the eyes could get over 4 feet long, and the horn over it’s nose over a foot long. Triceratops was extremely heavily built, weighing 9 tons. This put it at equal weight with its only predator, Tyrannosaurus, despite being half as tall. It used batteries of shearing teeth and a sharp beak to eat plants in its environment.
